alias

The `alias` command is used to assign a name to a command or group of commands for ease of use.

List all aliases (-a)

Display all aliases (-p)

Specify NAME as an alias name (-s)

Delete NAME as an alias (-d)

Display this help (-h)

Print the resolution of each alias (-t)

Examples

alias -a

alias -p

alias NAME='command'

For example:

alias ll='ls -alF'

unalias NAME

For example:

unalias ll

alias -h

alias -t
